I don’t talk about myself much, but after Dysphoria (which was surprisingly personal), I decided to make another one. Personal vid, that is. I think it helped me work through some stuff. I don’t know.

Started: 13 Dec 2020
Finished: 2 July 2021
Work Time: ~37 hours

This was indirectly inspired by the Violet Evergarden segment of this MEP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8R0Nh-GXuA

I do go into AfterEffects when necessary to do more complicated masks, but I try to avoid it. With these plugins, I save a ton of time, since most of what I do is fairly simple.

These clips are from my AMV “Trauma”.

Please note, I recreated all of these from memory specifically for the tutorial, so they may not be exactly what ended up in the final amv. There are several ways to approach match cuts (especially that last one). This just happened to be how I did it today.

B folder is for betas. This video started out VERY different – the concept was supposed to be homeless veterans. The betas (especially the early ones) are all over the place because of this.

This has a sort of sister video: Turbulence
