My first AMV in After Effects (not my first time using After Effects). This video was made for the AMVJ Sessions’ Boom Boom Satellites online contest.
“I heard about this contest through animemusicvideos.org, basically they(AMVJ-sessions.com) give you Vexelle (anime) and The song “Easy Action” by Boom Boom Satellites, and expect you to make something amazing. If you win, band uses your video as their backdrop on their tour, plus some other stuff.
I worked only on the weekends since I didn’t have any other time to do it, and whipped this up. Coincidentally, this is my first AMV in After Effects, and my first real AMV in over a year. While not as amazing as the other entries’ on AMVJ’s site, I still enjoy it. So there.”
The AMV was created with the idea that it would be used as a backdrop to a live performance. As such, it has a different “feel” when you’re just straight-up watching it.
